Yes, I know – I have been busy at work, attending several webinars (per week), reading articles online, commenting on other people/companies’ blogs, and just learning more about what I do, and about what I want to do with my career. I have been trying to update my Linkedin profile, but I haven’t even had time to do that. Embarrasing, yup.
Predicating what to do, but showing what not to do. Well, in the past couple of weeks I learned several things that I want to replicate here:
- First of all, I have been attending several of MarketingProfs webinars/ online seminars for social media. The most recent one was last week, on their newly implemented Digital Marketing World 2010 (highly recommended)
- Well, according to some of the speakers, the best bloggers (or real bloggers) blog about 2-3 times every week. I am far from that! and I need to work on this feature – I’m willing and eager to begin.
- Most of the time my problem is, “what do I write about?” since this question has been appearing several times, much more than what I can accept, I decided to take a look at a 10-tips-list by jimvesting.com
- Make a list.
- Interview Your Peers.
- Review a Service Opportunity.
- Bash a service/opportunity
- Answer a reader’s question.
- Write a tutorial post
- Add to a blogpost or conversation
- Niche blog posts
- Write what is Hot!
- Go to Bed (most likely)
Of course, I won’t do all of these at once, but I’ll work on writing three times a week, about something, anything, wahtever comes into my mind.
